Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas

We had a fun Thanksgiving with our friends and family this year. Grandpa Ed and Aunt Goldie and Aunt Jan and Uncle Gary came out, as well as Shad and his family. The kids always have so much fun playing together. Poor Anna was sick and had to stay away most of the time. I did the Santa's workshop craft fair in Vernal the days after Thanksgiving, so I had been busy crafting for the month before, and I ended up sick too. :( Then the whole family got it, sorry!!

We visited Salt Lake in December to do a special temple session with Mom, Dad, Lonnie, Angel, Shad and Erin. Adam kept the kids busy in the hotel. We celebrated 30 years ago being sealed as a family. It was a special day! :) We also enjoyed seeing the lights with the kids.

Anna has been working hard learning to play the piano again this year. Her new teacher Mckayla Gordon had her memorize two songs for a Christmas Recital. She memorized both of them and did a really good job, but got a little nervous at the recital.
We also had lots of fun playing games at Grandma Clayburns Christmas Eve party.

We visited Santa this year and told him what we wanted. We also had Jack our Elf come to visit our house.
Anna and Megan invited their cousins over and had a fun fancy hot chocolate tea party.

Ellie had fun being busy this Christmas. She loved the tree, and the countdown calendar and the presents. We didn't even bring any presents out to the tree till right before we opened them Christmas morning and she was still trying to unwrap them all! :) I was surprised that she sat on Santa's lap, the candy cane he gave her prob did the trick!

Halloween Fun

David was spiderman for the third year in a row :) We had fun carving pumpkins with our cousins.

Ellie helped me hand out candy.

Anna had a great halloween, She got a new witch costume but changed it into a pirate girl. She went trick or treating with her friend in her neighborhood as well as our ward trunk or treat.

What a cute little witch. She has fun acting like a creepy witch!

David did wear a super hero costume to preschool.

We made witch finger cookies, Mummy hot dogs and skeleton relish tray :)

What a cute bunch!

Wayment Family Reunion

We had so much fun at the Wayment Family Reunion this October. It was in St. George, on our drive down we stopped at the park in Fillmore, the kids love the trees there.

Look how high Megan got, the little daredevil!

Fun climbing and stretching our legs.

We had fun dressing up in our costumes and "trick or treating".

Lots of fun in the pool and fun pirate games!

Heidi and I were put on a team we were the "widows". We beat the pants off of everyone! :) Good thing I had her on my team ;)

Fun pirate treasure hunt.

The kids love playing with their cousins and having so much fun together. Thanks Jim and Kayla for a fun reunion. And thanks everyone else for the good company, food and fun!

Settling In..

We are really enjoying our new home. I vowed not to let the kids use my bath tub.... I guess I didn't. ;) Only a little tiny bit of soap does this with the jets!

I found this cute little vintage dresser on KSL. Its fun in the entry.

I also refinished this dinning set from KSL. We have lots of seating room for company, so nice! :)

LOVE my kitchen :) the granite countertops are prob my favorite! I love the pantrys too.

Found this fun clearance rug and vintage dresser on KSL. I know I'm cheap! :)

I've been having fun making little gallerys.

It took a while to find a bedspread that I'm happy with. Need headboard and new furniture... one day :)

A busy fall

We have been having a busy, fun fall! David went on a feild trip with his preschool class to the corn maze, Megan was supposed to go too but it got canceled because of bad weather. The weather has been kind of crazy but mostly nice with we really enjoy! Wayne went with Anna on a field trip to the Bird refuge/fish hatchery. I have been teaching Art for Anna's class.

Wayne went on a last minute trip 2 weeks ago to Oklahoma. His friend and new buisness partner JR Bird invited him. They went in JRs 4-6 seater plane to watch a proffesional fight, a local guy's last one. He had a wild plane ride there, kinda scary with turbulant weather, but the flight home was nice.

So in October JR offered Wayne this job/buisness partnership. We took a month to think it over and decided it would be good for us. We are so grateful for Wayne's job at Pinnacle. Mike was such a good boss to work for and always treated us well. We will miss it, but are excited about this new opportunity too.

Wayne has been working hard pruning trees and building our pump shed. Never a dull moment! The kids love making huts and Daddy loves making fires! One really rainy day he build this fire and little shelter for them. They would not come inside and were all drenched ;)

Fun memories!

What an awesome Daddy he can build and work and take care of a baby!! :)
