fun with our cousins

My brother Shad and his family came out this weekend. The kids have a lot of fun playing together. We had a little treasure hunt, visited the hut, played games and rode Cookie. The weather was so nice. What a fun day!

Leaf Fun

Grandma's backyard is always so much fun with all the leaves. We had fun making big piles, jumping, running, getting buried and making it "rain" leaves.

The Hut

A favorite activity is going to the "hut" the kids could keep busy for hours building huts with sticks, haystrings, and old junk.

More Candy!

We had a busy day yesterday... David had lots of candy. It was keeping him happy... and on the hay ride and off the rocks, hills and somewhat sitting still. He was so cute every piece of cany he would get he'd hold up and say "open".

Trunk or Treating was a lot of fun with our ward. We finished just as the weather started to get windy and rainy.

Little Superman! I tried to pin a cape on him, but it was driving him nuts!

Happy as can be...

Happy Halloween

I let the girls pick out their own costumes this year. Anna loved this sequin covered costume, she decided she was Hannah Montana, and Megan wanted this pink skeleton costume. They love pink can you tell?

Megan is at a fun age, she actually likes getting her picture taken now.

We had a fun trick or treating hay ride with our cousins in Bridgeland. It was beautiful weather, and a lot of fun.

They are so lucky to have so many fun cousins to play with!

Happy Fall

We actually grew quite a few pumpkins this year! I let the girls help pick them and we loaded the wagon up to bring them to the front porch. David also wanted to help but he thought it was so funny to throw the pumpkins!

After selling his little Ford Ranger Wayne got a new car at an auction. It is an ex-police car, and he is enjoing it. The kids are always so excited when he gets home from work... the Mommy is too!

fall ride

I am loving this beautiful fall we are enjoying. It is starting to get a little chilly and really feel like fall. It has been so beautiful and flowers are still blooming beautifully amazing! I really wanted to spend some time outside before it gets too much colder. So we drove out to Bridgeland to ride around on the fourwheeler and razor. We rode up on the top of "blue bench". The view was amazing and the company couldn't have been better!

Fun in the Mud

We had a lot of rain last week. On Thursday I let Megan put on her boots to go "splash in the puddles" She was having so much fun outside that I thought cleaning her up would be worth it. After David woke up from his nap I decided to let them both have some fun.
Megan was loving riding her bike through the puddles. She would get high centered with her training wheels and the back tire would spin in the mud. She was thrilled!
"Look mom I'm a water machine!"
Mud was flying everywhere... lets just say she definetly isn't afraid to get dirty!

David getting in on the action. He was "stomping in the mud", throwing rocks in the puddles and smiling like crazy.. though, I didn't manage to get any with the camera.

Well my little fun adventure turned into a weekend of it.. after all how can you tell a kid to stay out of it, after you've already let them play in it once?
We have lots of laundry today...
