Halloween Fun

We had fun carving pumpkins, Daddy helped us find cool patterns on the internet! Mom and Dad were pretty busy carving them... ;) The kids had fun carving their own Jack o Lanterns with help from Mom.

Bridgeland Halloween Party

We had a fun time at the Bridgeland Halloween party with Gma and Gpa and our cousins.
Cute costumes:

David loved the party! His favorite things were the costume parade on the stage, the fish pond, and ring toss. He played the ring toss game for a long time. He even picked out a spider cupcake to match his costume all by himself.

Megan hit the jackpot at the cakewalk and won this darling cake. Wayne said it was a runner up in the contest. She loved all the games too.

Anna couldn't even pick a favorite game, she loved them all. We had such a fun time, thanks Gma and Gpa for inviting us and for Bridgeland ward for putting on such a fun party!

Wayment Family Reunion

We drove down to Las Vegas this weekend for a fun family reunion. It was really nice weather and the kids did great traveling. We stayed at my brothers house and eveyrone had lots of fun playing and swimming in their pool. We also went to Lake Mead for a hot and fun afternoon.
The kids had lots of fun in the warm water, made pools with Wayne and cousins, and gathered shells.

David acutally stood up on the kneeboard out in the water, but I didn't get a picture. He loved riding it around.
Wayne was the only one to get up behind the boad this time... there will have to be another year for me. He also went on the New York New York rollercoaster... I went to Target!

Our kids are so lucky to have so many fun cousins to play with. They had a giant sleepover in the playroom with 8 or 9 sleepingbags and kids on the floor.

Megan jumping over the waves!

We had lots of fun playing and visiting with our Wayment family. Anna's favorite was hiting baseballs in the batting cage with Dad. She did really good. David loved playing with all the toys and swimming. On the way home he kept saying "Go back to Logan's house." Megan loved the lake and playing dress up and makeup with all the girls. They also had lots of fun making crafts, and playing Jolly Butcher Boy with Gma and Gpa. We all loved Great Grandma's candy bar game and came home with yummy goodies and spending money.
Thanks everyone for the great reunion, sorry I didn't take very many pics.

September Stuff

September flew by and we are fully in school schedule mode (except for a few late nights that we couldn't help with the lovely weather we've been having).
Anna lost another tooth, during primary! The week before a little boy in my primary class lost his tooth and I was teasing Anna saying that she'd loose hers at church too... well I guess biting into a big cookie does it! They both did great for the Primary program. I am enjoying being back in the 'Sunday' primary buisness. Anna is doing awesome in 2nd grade and has already passed off her first 100 sight words in under a minute and her +1 and +2 timings. We are getting used to this new homework.

I had my turn teaching preschool, we did letter C. So we made playdough cookies, real cookies, and played who stole the cookies from the cookie jar. We also did the Very Hungry Caterpillar and painted little caterpillars.

Megan and David are also getting used to Kindergarten and Preschool. Megan has some fun friends that we carpool with and she 'loooooves' her teacher. She is learning to read lots of words and books. Yeah! David is having fun with his friends in preschool though his favorite time is just when we have playdates. He is also really getting good on his potty training... 3 days without any accidents yeah!!
They love hanging out and being lazy in the morning... and I don't mind either. ;) I'm just cherishing these days.

One of the favorite games is for David to be the Daddy and Megan to be the baby. Or Megan is the Mommy and David is her baby 'Timmy'... they love riding around in the toy baby stroller or crawling or crying 'wa wa wa'.

A fun little craft totally out of the blue. We made some little 'outfits' for their stuffed kittys using old socks. just cut some holes for arms and legs... fun for hours!
