Our Fishing Trip - Not a fish tale!

Wayne works with a really nice gentleman who enjoys fishing. He took Wayne, Dad and Me on his pontoon boat at Sandwash. We had a great time, catching our limit! Dad and I both caught 6 or 7. Wayne luckily caught 1 to finish off our limit. They were really nice fish. I think I might have caught the one Wayne is holding though...

First Day of Kindergarten

We were very excited to start Kindergarten yesterday. I wasn't prepared for the emotions that came. My little girl is all of a sudden grown up! She had a great day. And she even rode the bus home. She said "It's really fast Mom!" It was a lot of fun to talk with her about her day and the things she did. It is certainly a new adventure for us.

Megan the "Cookie Maker"

Yesterday was a big day for our family. Anna started kindergarten. We all walked her into her classroom and looked around a little. Megan sat down on a cute little couch and insisted, "I'm staying too!" Sorry kiddo. I knew this was going to be an issue, Megan doesn't want to get left out of anything and has a hard time when her built in best friend isn't around to play with. But she is growing up too, and has lots of fun imagining and pretending. While waiting for the bus to bring Anna home she started making "cookies" (rocks). She lines them all up, sprinkles them with water, pretends to 'eat' them and colors them with chalk. I am looking forward to having a little more one on one time with her too. Her small hand feels so good in mine.

Little Rock Climber

David has changed so much in the last month. He is crawling and climbing and standing everywhere. This last weekend he had some one on one time with Mom, and he sure loved it. He also adores playing with and getting attention from his sisters. He is a happy go lucky baby, and wants to be big just like everyone else!

David is 8 months old

What a cutie! Our little guy is growing up. He is scooting all around and loves finding and discovering everything. He gets really excited and scoots towards his bottle or his mommy. Smart boy! He also started pulling himself up and standing, how quickly he has changed! We sure love him he brings such joy to us.

Growing up

Our little girls are growing up. Megan is 3 1/2. She thinks she rules the roost. She can be very stuborn, and pretty tough. She loves playing with her sister, and misses her even when she is gone for only a few hours. But she can also be entertained playing on her own for a long time. She likes building, creating, pretending, teasing and riding her bike. She loves to get the mail and often checks it 2 or 3 times a day. She is silly, playful, energetic, loud, and loveable

Anna is 5 and will start kindergarten this year. She is a little nervous but will be ready. I can't belive how much she really is growing up lately. She can be a big helper and is really learning to do a lot of things on her own. She loves playing with Megan and David, but really enjoys her own 'quiet time' too. She can be sensitive and shy and a little anxoius at times. But she is learning to overcome some of that. Tonight she told me "I learned how to be brave. But not if I'm bleeding." Silly girl! She is so creative, imaginative, and wonderful.
I know its because they are mine but I really do think they are the best. I am so blessed to get to have them in my life, and it is really going to be fun growing up with them.

My little brother bought a fast car. Maybe he'll let me borrow it sometime.
