Painting Kids Bedrooms

I decided to let the kids choose colors and help paint their bedrooms before we get carpet.
We had a lot of fun.
Megan chose girly pink!

Anna couldn't decide which color. She liked blue, green, orange or purple. I encouraged her to do this cute turquoise blue! She helped do quite a bit, but she said "Wow mom this is a lot of work it gets me tired!" I said I could do the rest, she said "Thanks so much mom for painting my room." She sure is growing up and has been so much help taking care of her brother and sister a lot while we have been working on the house.

David had so much fun! This bright green is pretty cool!

We love our Daddy!

Wayne is such an awesome father and husband. We celebrated Father's day with matching ties ;), Wayne was a good sport! The kids made hime cute cards at church. Anna says shes loves her Dad because he: works hard and earns money for our family, he takes care of her, he's building a new house for our family, and he's a wonderful dad.
Megan says she loves her Dad because he: hugs her, loves her, gave her a sofa and gave her chocolate. So precious :)

We are so blessed to have these sweet children entrusted in our care. What an awesome opportunity and responsibility. Wayne has been very busy....
Look at all the awesome lights we have in our new house:

We hired Kevin Whiting and his son to do this tile for around our fireplace. It turned out so awesome!

Finishing Touches

The countertops and sinks were installed in the bathrooms. We are still waiting on the granite countertops for the kitchen so that they can do all the finishing plumbing.

The cultured marble was installed in the master bathroom. It turned out really pretty.

The kitchen cabinets had the crown molding and base moldings installed, looking good!

lots going on in June

Wayne got the wood flooring installed, with a little help from Adam, Dad and Steve, thanks guys!! We have a little bit left at our front entry but its mostly done. It looks great even with a thick layer of dirt ;)

The stair railing was installed, it looks really nice! I didn't realize how much labor it is!

The kitchen cabinets came!! They look awesome, thanks to Adam for all his extra hard work on them. So glad I had Grants do them, they have been so helpful and wonderful!

The 'faux' slate floor. We have been having people think its real tile! It is very pretty :)

Diggin the water line to the house, thanks Justin for helping us out!
