Easter Blessings

Easter Sunday was a beautiful day. It was our first day back to church with Ellie. It is wonderful to have Gma and Gpa to help with the kids. I still felt a little overwhelmed taking 4 kids to church.. We are all adjusting pretty good though. Ellie is being a good baby. She slept in her car seat the whole time at church.
I am so thankful for these sweet kids that are mine and for the roles I have of wife and mother. I am truly blessed. I am so thankful for the gospel knowledge and testimony that I have too. And the peace, comfort and joy that comes from our loving big brother, Jesus Christ.
My other big brother, Tony had some hard news this Easter. His sweet little girl has a tumor. They did a biopsy and are doing the tests to determine exactly what it is/and what to do. My heart is hurting for them going through this trial, and I wish I could take some of thier heartache and worries away. We are all praying and fasting for them, and have faith that throught the Lord it will all work out. We love you so much Tony, Stacie, Rylee, Eric, Sam and Paige.
Our Sweet girls in their pretty dresses.
David wasn't going to last long..
..and neither was Ellie. I love the imperfection of this perfection :)
The first family picture since Ellie was born.
Our little Easter Bunny. Isn't she sweet? I crocheted the hat and booties.

Happy 8th Bday Anna!

We celebrated Anna's birthday last friday. She is 8 years old, wow, that went by fast, she is sure growing up. We had a "Cupcake" birthday party. I let her invite 5 friends from school and 3 cousins. They had a lot of fun decorating cupcakes and playing party games. Anna said her favorite part was the pinata. We let all the girls have a turn and then let her finish it off at the end. She loved it! We also had a little cookie cake with the Clayburn family on Saturday.
Anna is looking forward to being baptized next month. We are so very glad that she is making this choice. She is such a special girl. We love her creative personality, inquisitive mind and good nature. She always wants to do what's right and is a big help to our family.
It was also Pajama Day at school, so half of the girls at our party were in their PJs. ;)
They all went on a treasure hunt and found these cute little aprons to wear while they decorated the cupcakes with fondant that my good friend Terra made for me. They had lots of fun!

Daddy was in charge of the Pinata (thankfully ;))

Ellie is 1 month!

Wow a month has gone by pretty quickly. Ellie is doing well and growing. At her 2 week checkup she had gained and weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. She was wearing size newborn clothes for the whole month, but just last weekend we started dressing her up in the 0-3 month stuff. We think she is a doll!
This cute little hat and diaper cover was made by Aunt Angel. Isn't she sweet! ;)

I was having too much fun taking some sweet pictures while she was sleeping... she probablly didn't get the best rest but aren't these pictures worth it!?
NO APRIL FOOLIn! Megan lost her first tooth... no really she really really lost it! I noticed a few days earlier that it was getting loose. She was so excited and wanted to get a string and pull it out right then! I convinced her to wiggle it for a while and it would come out soon. She showed all her friends at school, and Anna on the bus. On Sunday morning we were being lazy letting the kids watch t.v. and sleeping in. The girls came into our room and said,... "we need some floss to get Megan's tooth out. April Fools!" Then they showed us the hole in her mouth and her tooth in a little baggie... Later that day no bag to be found. We looked all around the house, and still couldn't find it so Anna helped her write a note for the tooth fairy. She must have found it because the next morning... there was a gold dollar under her pillow! :) Isn't it great to be a kid!

March

We have had a good month. The kids all love their new baby sister... they can't get enough of her, showering her with attention, hugs, kisses, and love. They all want to hold her, carry her (despite me being nervous), even just watch her sleep. So sweet :)

We had some fun for St. Patricks day with green mustaches, cute shirts and a treasure hunt with a rainbow and gold treat.
