Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas

We had a fun Thanksgiving with our friends and family this year. Grandpa Ed and Aunt Goldie and Aunt Jan and Uncle Gary came out, as well as Shad and his family. The kids always have so much fun playing together. Poor Anna was sick and had to stay away most of the time. I did the Santa's workshop craft fair in Vernal the days after Thanksgiving, so I had been busy crafting for the month before, and I ended up sick too. :( Then the whole family got it, sorry!!

We visited Salt Lake in December to do a special temple session with Mom, Dad, Lonnie, Angel, Shad and Erin. Adam kept the kids busy in the hotel. We celebrated 30 years ago being sealed as a family. It was a special day! :) We also enjoyed seeing the lights with the kids.

Anna has been working hard learning to play the piano again this year. Her new teacher Mckayla Gordon had her memorize two songs for a Christmas Recital. She memorized both of them and did a really good job, but got a little nervous at the recital.
We also had lots of fun playing games at Grandma Clayburns Christmas Eve party.

We visited Santa this year and told him what we wanted. We also had Jack our Elf come to visit our house.
Anna and Megan invited their cousins over and had a fun fancy hot chocolate tea party.

Ellie had fun being busy this Christmas. She loved the tree, and the countdown calendar and the presents. We didn't even bring any presents out to the tree till right before we opened them Christmas morning and she was still trying to unwrap them all! :) I was surprised that she sat on Santa's lap, the candy cane he gave her prob did the trick!
