Megan painting in the snow.

The kids have been sledding on the "sled hill" in the backyard. A huge pile ended up on my fence... I think Wayne shoveled it off the house and it also slid off the shed. Any way they think its so cool to be able to go in their own backyard even when its only a little 'hill'. The girls were all ready to go down into the yard, but Mommy was trying to take a picture and not helping them balance and get going the right way and they slid backwards into the wood pile. Lots of giggles...

David loved it. He gets so excited, waving his hands up in the air and saying "whoo hooo". Of course he doesn't care about looking at the camera. 'Just get to the fun Mom!'

Mommy's Helpers

We've been doing a little much needed cleaning around our house. I was mopping the floor and Megan was really wanting to help. She said "I'm just like Cinderella Mommy!"

Well David couldn't miss out on the fun either. They both got more wet than the floor... oh well!

Megan printed out this cute little Bow from the Mickey mouse website. It had instructions for making it a bow or a bowtie. She cut out a pink one for her and we pinned this one on this handsome guy!

Orlando Vacation

Wayne and I surprised the girls with a trip to Florida. They were pretty excited when we told them the afternoon that we drove out to Salt Lake. "For real??.." they said.
After flying all day on Friday we checked into the resort(Wayne's brother has a time share and invited us to go with them). Then on Saturday we went to Universal Studio's Islands of Adventures. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was pretty impresive!

But the girls LOVED the Suess Landing!! They had some really cute little Dr. Suess themed rides.

It was a long day, so the next day we took a little break at the resort and on Monday we visited Magic Kingdom!

The girls saw lots of princess and had them sign their backpacks. It was a magical day!

On Tuesday we headed to the beach. It was a bit chilly but we had so much fun finding sea shells and playing in the sand and water!

On Wednesday we visited Sea World, saw animals, watched shows and went on some fun rides.

Then on Friday we met up with Tony's family and visited Magic Kingdom again. The girls were invited to a special "brunch" with the princesses in Cinderellas castle! So much fun!!

On Saturday Tony and Wayne went fishing and Stacie and I had fun at the beach with these little munchkins.
We got a little too much sun and all got sunburned. There's nothing like being sunburned on the beach on Saturday and driving home through a snow storm on Sunday. We were so excited to get back and see David and everyone at home though. It was a nice trip!

January warms my Heart

We had a warm spell for a few days. It was so awesome!!! Wayne is sad cause its melting all 'his ice fishing ice'. boo hoo... On Martin Luther King day we went to the park for some sledding. I promised the girls that after they did their chores we would go then I couldn't find the sled. (wayne had it in his car at work)... of course they were sold out in town, fourtunetly we have Wayne's brother lives near the park and let us borrow theirs.
Thanks Ryan and Stacey you saved the day!!
The kids had a blast, David even went down all by himself and loved it! He was so cute when he made it to the bottom he raised both hands up and yelled "whoo hooo". We love it!

After all that sledding (about 10-15 mins worth) we had to play at the park. David was in heaven!! They all would have played forever if we didn't get wet and cold. $2.99 happy meals after a day like this are my best friend!! What a fun day!

Happy Bday Megan!

We celebrated Megan's 5th birthday yesterday with a My Little Pony party. She had so much fun and said, "This is the best Birthday ever!" She is growing up and changing so much. She is getting really good at coloring and cutting and recognizing and copying letters.

It was fun to have some friends come to the party, and dress up in a pony "mane" and "tail". Megan helped me sew crepe paper streamers onto elastic to go around their waists, and heads. We played pin the tail on the pony, pass the pony (hot potato), and had a pony pinata. She was spoiled with so many fun things from everyone and is having lots of fun playing with them!

She also ate all of her cake and loved it!
