Some October Fun

I decided to have some fun this month and do a simple activity every day with Anna and Megan. I made a list of things: baking cookies, making crafts, picking pumpkins, dressing up, ect. Every day they get to add a decoration (window cling) to the refridgerator and we do the activity together. It has been fun, it makes a difference to just spend 10-20mins. with them. We both look forward to it. Today we had a dress up parade, trying on lots of costumes/dress ups. Then they tried on their Halloween costumes. Pretty cute huh? Yesterday we picked the four pumpkins from our garden and put them on the front porch.

One day we made pink cookies with sprinkles, yummy and easy. 1 white cake mix with 2 eggs and 1/3 c. oil. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 mins. Frost with a can of Funfetti pink frosting with sprinkles to add on top.

Another day we had fun making playdough monsters. Silly monster faces!

What a creative thing to do. I'll have to use some of those ideas too! Thanks for sharing. Your girls are so cute!

Oh how cute! You always seem to have so much fun with your girls. You will be so happy that you didn't come by. Kaden ended up getting sick before we left for Tropic so I am sure you would have caught whatever he had...Anyways, hope you are still doing well. Miss seeing you guys!

You go GIRL! Enjoy this time with your girls. They are so cute! It is amazing how 15-20 min. of undivided attention gives you 2-3 hours more of better time where they are not acting out so much for your attention. They always need it the most when we are the busiest and feel we do not have the time to stop and give it. I wish I could go back and do some things over again...but then again, I did the best I could at the time I was there.
